Since 1971, more than 750 Penn State students have spent a semester studying Mass Communications at the University of Manchester in Manchester, England. The friendships and camaraderie developed during this experience have carried on for many alumni. The Manchester Program Alumni Interest Group (AIG) provides an opportunity to reunite or regain contact with friends.
The AIG provides Penn State graduates of the Manchester Program an opportunity to maintain contact with Penn State, the College of Communications, the University of Manchester and other Manchester Program alumni. Additionally, alumni serve as a networking resource for students currently enrolled in the program.
The Manchester Program AIG connects its alumni to a most beloved tradition--the friends, life lessons and community discovered as students in the program continue through the Manchester Program AIG. In addition, the Manchester Program AIG provides opportunities for Manchester Program alumni to create a base of networking and support to help fellow alumni and current students reach their fullest potential.
New Feature: In addition to this official web site, AIG members can join the Yahoo! Manchester AIG Interactive Discussion Group. Sign up at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/manchesteraig/. Post discussions, conduct chats, share photos, download forms, and more!
