The Penn State Alumni Association is the largest dues-paying alumni association in the country. Our Chapter is a small but important part of that Association. Our goals are similar… personal development, community service and support for the University. Activities include College Fairs, an Adopt-A-Highway program, visits to local arts and science museums, trips to football games, an annual Spring Dinner and monthly lunches.
We are always looking to increase our membership. It would be great to have all local Penn State alumni join our chapter, especially recent grads (last 10 – 15 years). Young blood will help pick up the Penn State torch and carry it forward with new ideas and new energy. The future will be a little more exciting too, with the revival of the Penn State – Syracuse football rivalry for at least a couple of years.
If you would like to find out more about our Chapter, possibly renew old acquaintances, talk about the times in Hazleton or Pittsburgh, or Harrisburgh, Altoona, York, Wilkes-Barre, McKeesport, Erie, Philadelphia, or even Mt. Carmel, please join us for lunch. We meet the first Thursday of every month. If you can make it, please let Jerry McCormick know (637-6168)
