Who are we?
We are Penn State! The Lake Erie Chapter, on behalf of the Penn State Alumni Association, provides continuity and connection to Penn State through fun and rewarding activities for the Lake Erie area alumni and friends.
What do we do?
Our goal is to keep the Penn State spirit alive and well in northwestern Pennsylvania. We do this through community services and social activities. The Chapter also funds the Robert W. Sparks Scholarship which awards grants to Penn State students from northwestern PA. To date, our Chapter contribution to the Sparks Scholarship is more than $53,000. The Behrend College Athletic Department
has received more than $5,300 which was used to buy equipment for the sports programs.

Anyone who is PENN STATE PROUD! All graduates, former students, family and friends of Penn State are welcome.

Chapter Activities
• Annual Steak Fry with prominent (usually PENN STATE) speakers
• Reserved seats at selected Behrend Speakers Series Programs
• Block of tickets to one football game each year
• Annual Golf Scramble and Steak Dinner
• Football and basketball TV parties at Fox & Hound English Pub and Grill, 250 Mill Creek Plaza
• Chapter night at a SeaWolves baseball game and Otter's hockey game
• Participation in the Special Olympics Spring Track and Field Event
